Week 1: Understanding US Market
Learn how US founders position their product and communicate with customers and investors.
Many Korean startups struggle in the US not because of the product, but because the positioning, messaging, and communication style are different.

In Week 1, founders learn how to think and communicate like US startups — from product positioning to how to introduce the company to customers and investors.

By the end of the week, founders will have a clear US-facing one-liner and elevator pitch tailored for the US market.
WEEK 1 DELIVERABLES
  • A US-targeted startup one-liner (Korean and English)
  • A refined elevator pitch for customers and VCs
  • Clear product positioning for the US market

Week 2: GTM Design
Design your first sales motion.
After identifying the right customer segment in Week 1, founders now focus on building a practical go-to-market strategy and starting real outreach.

Instead of waiting for marketing to generate leads, founders learn how to run founder-led sales — identifying their Ideal Customer Profile, crafting the right message, and initiating conversations with potential customers.

By the end of the week, founders will have a clear ICP, a defined winning scenario, and their first outbound sales experiments running.
WEEK 2 DELIVERABLES
  • LinkedIn profile optimized for outbound lead generation
  • At least 20 ICP prospects identified and documented
  • A winning scenario and customer interview script

Week3: Setting KPIs
Turn your early traction into a measurable growth system.
By Week 3, founders shift from experimentation to building a clear growth framework for the US market.

You will define the key metrics that drive your startup — from acquisition and revenue to retention — and structure a KPI dashboard that helps the team focus on what actually matters.

Founders will also refine their business model and pricing strategy based on how US startups structure monetization.By the end of the week, teams will have a clear AARRR growth funnel and measurable milestones for US expansion.

Week4: IR & Storytelling
Turn your startup into a story investors understand.
In the final week, founders translate their product, traction, and market insights into a clear narrative for investors and partners.

Instead of simply presenting data, founders learn how to structure their company story — why this problem matters, why now, and why this team is positioned to win.

Teams refine their pitch, investor deck, and launch messaging, preparing to introduce their startup to investors and the broader startup ecosystem.
WEEK 4 DELIVERABLES
  • A 10-slide US-ready IR deck for investors
  • A refined founder story and pitch narrative
  • A Bookface / community launch introduction

What language should I write my application in?

In which language will the diagnostic meeting be conducted?
Chevron down icon
The diagnostic meeting can be conducted in either Korean or English, depending on your preference.
Can I apply as a solo founder?
Chevron down icon
Yes. Both pre-founders and solo founders can apply through the same application process. If you do not yet have a product, please check the Pre-MVP option in the application form.
What should I prepare for the diagnostic interview?
Chevron down icon
We recommend preparing short answers to the following questions:

1. What clear problem are you solving?
2. How are you planning to solve this problem?
3. How many people are currently experiencing this problem?

You do not need to prepare an IR deck. A short 1-minute elevator pitch is enough.

We recommend that founders and co-founders attend the first interview.

If your team is accepted, we strongly recommend that all co-founders participate in the program, especially during in-person sessions.

What is the US Track?
Chevron down icon
For startups with strong global ambitions, we offer a two-week stay in Silicon Valley. During this period founders will:
• stay with other founders in a shared Airbnb
• meet local mentors and operators
• attend startup events
• conduct real customer interviews

This allows:
• daily collaboration between founders
• informal mentoring and late-night discussions
• natural partnership opportunities between startups

Many past collaborations between startups have started during these shared stays.
Founders will typically have 20–30% of their time reserved for customer discovery.
What are the selection criteria for the US Track?
Chevron down icon
Participation in the US Track is by invitation only and is open to startups that have successfully completed the Founder Sprint (FS) program.

Teams are selected based on:
• Clear product positioning and traction built during Founder Sprint
• Strong global or US market ambition
• Ability to communicate with US customers and investors
• Active participation and execution during the acceleration program

The US Track is designed for founders who are ready to validate customers, partnerships, or investors in Silicon Valley.
What makes the US Track different from other global startup programs?
Chevron down icon
Most global programs provide short visits or networking events.
The Outsome US Track is a 2-week, end-to-end Silicon Valley immersion program, where founders:
• stay together in a shared founder house
• meet YC founders, VCs, and operators
• conduct real customer and partner meetings
• participate in curated VC roundtables and founder dinners

The program is designed to help founders build real relationships and outcomes — not just attend events.
Will we meet US investors during the program?
Chevron down icon
Yes. The program includes curated interactions with Silicon Valley VCs,
including:
• VC roundtables and fireside chats
• small-group investor discussions
• founder dinners with investors and operators

Participating VC networks include firms such as:
• Berkeley Ventures
• Pioneer Fund
• Plug and Play
• GS Ventures
• Blitzscaling Ventures
• Jackson Square Ventures

These sessions focus on feedback, relationship building, and long-term connections, rather than traditional demo-day pitching.
Who are the mentors in the US Track?
Chevron down icon
The mentor pool includes Silicon Valley founders, YC alumni, operators, and investors.
Many mentors are:
• YC founders and operators
• startup advisors and VCs
• FAANG engineers and product leaders

Examples include founders and operators such as:
• George Carollo (Founder, Dover YC S19)
• Mayur Mahe (Founder, YC S18)
• Martin Bittner (Founder, YC S24)
• Matthew Eggertson (Founder, YC W22)
• Landon Sanford (Founder, YC W21)

The program combines founder mentorship, operator insights, and investor perspectives.
Are there real outcomes from the program?
Chevron down icon
